Empathetic Design
At the core of my design process is curiosity- about how people live, what they struggle with, and what brings them ease. I don’t just design to solve problems but to understand the people behind them. I pay close attention to how people interact with the world, how they hesitate, adapt, or get stuck and design to remove those moments. I see the user not as an endpoint, but as a collaborator.
Engineering Rigor
My background in mechanical engineering grounds my process in structure and intent. I care deeply about how things fit, function, and fail. Good engineering doesn’t just solve problems; it anticipates them. I iterate quickly, test thoroughly, and make sure every decision has a reason behind it. From tolerances to test setups, I approach each project with care, precision, and pride in the craft.
Creative Edge
Creativity is how I make sure what I build is worth building. It’s how I stay connected to what excites me and what might surprise or move someone else. Utility without character is forgettable. I care about naming, form, and storytelling because I want people to connect with what I design, not just use it. The work I’m proudest of isn’t just functional but personal, purposeful, and a little unexpected.
